In addition to her acting roles, Emily has assisted in the production of several junior productions, runs her own junior class for children aged 4–6 years, and serves on the children's board of Shakespeare's Kids.
Over the last two years, Emily has expanded her passion for working with children beyond Shakespeare's Kids. She worked as a Camp Counsellor in Pennsylvania, creating memorable experiences and providing support for hundreds of young children. She also spent time as an Arctic Ranger in Finland, where she brought joy and inspiration to children, fostering unforgettable moments in a unique environment.
Emily’s dedication has been recognised through her completion of two Community Achievement Awards from Kelvin College in Glasgow, making her the youngest student in Scotland (under 18) to achieve this honour. Furthermore, she was nominated for a Young Scot Award for her contributions to the community and her outstanding work with children through Shakespeare's Kids.
