Luke Mcallen
Acting Coach



Luke has been with Shakespeare's Kids for around seven years, and during that time, he has become a cornerstone of the organisation. Alongside his involvement in productions and coaching, Luke is now a published author and dedicated writer, having written three full novels of his own. Additionally, he serves as Shakespeare's Kids' Shakespeare and acting coach. His extensive contributions include a wide range of productions, such as:

Luke has also played a vital role behind the scenes, assisting in the creation of numerous junior productions and short films. He runs his own junior storytelling classes for Shakespeare's Kids under 7's, further demonstrating his passion for nurturing young talent.
Currently, Luke serves as an Ambassador and Acting Coach and is a member of the children's board for Shakespeare's Kids & Little Shakespeare's.
Luke’s dedication and hard work have been widely recognised. He has recently completed two Community Achievement Awards through Kelvin College Glasgow in recognition of his contributions to the project, making him the youngest student in Scotland under 18 to achieve this honour. Additionally, he was nominated for a Young Scot Awardfor his outstanding contributions to children in the community through his work with Shakespeare's Kids.
