Shakespeare's Kids Ambassador Program

Shakespeare’s Kids Ambassador Program: Purpose, Benefits, and Criteria

Purpose of the Shakespeare’s Kids Ambassador Program

At Shakespeare’s Kids, we believe in nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for personal growth, leadership, and creative expression. Our enhanced Ambassador Program is designed to recognise and celebrate the contributions of our most dedicated students while empowering them to take on meaningful roles within our community.

This program is more than just a title—it is a platform for our young stars to develop skills that will benefit them both on and off the stage. By collaborating with Youth Theatre Arts Scotland (YTAS), our Ambassadors will also have the unique chance to work towards prestigious awards, such as the HI5 and Youth Award programs, further enriching their experience and accomplishments.

Benefits of the Program
  1. Skill Development: Ambassadors will gain hands-on experience in areas like marketing, community engagement, coaching, and backstage work, fostering valuable skills for the future.
  2. Recognition: The program offers a pathway to earn renowned awards from YTAS, which are highly regarded by educational and arts institutions such as Kelvin College, New College Lanarkshire, Motherwell & Hamilton Performing Arts, and MGA Academy.
  3. Leadership Opportunities: Ambassadors will play a key role in promoting and advancing Shakespeare’s Kids through mentoring and representing the program at community events.
  4. Personal Growth: The program encourages responsibility, teamwork, and exemplary behaviour, helping students grow into confident and reliable individuals.
  5. Community Impact: Ambassadors act as role models, inspiring their peers and positively influencing the Shakespeare’s Kids community.
